CO-Founder and Chief Addiction Therapist:
Petunia Monchusie Ph.D., LCAC, LCPC has been practicing in the Addiction field for more than 20 years. She has worked at various inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment programs, as a Substance Abuse Counselor, a Program Manager, a Clinical Program Director, and as a Consultant.
Dr. Monchusie utilizes a variety of evidence based practices and also utilizes a holistic approach which stems from academic and practical background. In terms of her academic background, Dr. Monchusie obtained the following Degrees:
- B.A. Degree in Social Work,
- Honors Degree in Sport and Recreation Management,
- Masters of Science Degree in Management,
- Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology,
- Ph.D. with special emphases in Sport Exercise and Substance Abuse.
Dr. Monchusie is also an Adjunct Professor teaching Psychology, Sociology, and Addiction Counseling courses. She is also a Developer of online courses and a face-to-face courses in Domestic Violence and Substance Abuse and Sport Psychology for a university.
Her academic and professional career speak volumes of her commitment and dedication to the field of Addictions.
Co-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR of education and technology:
David Monchusie (B.S. and M.B.A), has been a teacher and university instructor for more than 35 years. He was the head of Information Technology (CIO) for a major university for 10 plus years, served on various higher education technology advisory boards (Sprint Higher Education Advisory Board (SHEAB), Jenzabar's The Club for Innovators (TCI), and others. He also facilitates Batterer Intervention, Anger Management, and ADIS classes.
